We have over 140 networks across England chaired by managers, for managers.
Network chairs are passionate about what they do, and they have first-hand experience of quality care. The chairs provide an opportunity to listen, support and shape their networks to the needs of their area. They develop and promote solutions and share information with full support from their Â鶹ŮÀÉ locality manager and wider network.
Lead a network for registered managers in your area
Every network has a designated Â鶹ŮÀÉ locality manager to support them. They can help you to set-up your initial meeting, plan agendas and identify guest speakers and they will also attend the network meetings.
A grant of £900 to £2,000 is also available to meet the cost of running a network.
As a network chair you will be invited to regional meetings where you can discuss what is working well and what isn't and share best practice with other network chairs in the area. These regional meetings are run by locality managers with a real insight into what is important in your communities.
If you have a specific need for your area, your locality manager will be available to discuss this with you.
Network chairs development programme
Available for all network chairs who have not attended before including our co-chairs, new chairs and deputy chairs around the country.
The programme consists of five two-hour interactive workshops over a five-month period with a focus on quality and improvement, wellbeing, supporting and engaging in networks, leadership and influence in your wider community of care.
For more information about future programmes, contact your locality manager.
