We have two social work education networks in the North East, Yorkshire and Humber. Both networks address topics such as, post qualifying training for social workers, social work qualifying education, the PCF, the ASYE, principal social worker developments, practice education and continuing professional development.
We also use the meetings to contribute to consultations and address the concerns of local stakeholders.
The networks are attended by a range of social work professionals across child and family and adults social work.

Equity at the heart of the ASYE
Tuesday 5 March I Radisson Hotel York I 10:30 - 15:30
This event will focus on equity in the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE), ensuring that all newly qualified social workers (NQSWs) have an ASYE experience tailored to their individual strengths and support needs.
The day will focus on supporting ASYE co-ordinators to develop an equality, diversity and inclusion framework that responds to the individual support needs of their NQSWs. You don’t need to have a framework in place to attend. It’s an opportunity to learn from one another.
Book by 23 February.
